Yes, I do perform both non-religious and religious funerals. My primary aim is to understand your family's traditions, values, and beliefs so that I can help foster an environment where these aspects can be expressed in forms of comfort and honor for the person who has passed away. Whether your family follows specific religious rituals or prefers a secular approach, my goal remains the same: to provide a respectful and supportive space where memories can be shared, emotions can be expressed, and the life of your loved one can be celebrated in a manner that reflects their essence and your family's beliefs

Certainly! I am willing to sing during the service if it aligns with the needs and preferences of the occasion. While I may not be able to sing everything and anything, I have experience singing at many funerals. However, if there are specific songs or styles that are desired but beyond my capability, I am well connected to a network of professional vocalists who can provide their expertise. I would be glad to connect you with a suitable vocalist for hire to ensure that the service is conducted with professionalism and reverence.

Absolutely! I have extensive experience in organizing funeral and memorial services, having facilitated 50 ceremonies. Drawing upon this wealth of experience, I can offer a multitude of ideas for customs, readings, and practices that can be incorporated to honor your loved one and create a space for grieving and comfort.
Some suggestions may include personalized rituals that reflect the unique essence of the departed individual, readings of meaningful poems or passages that resonate with their life and beliefs, incorporating favorite music or songs that hold special significance, and inviting family and friends to share anecdotes or memories during the service.
Additionally, we can explore cultural or religious traditions that hold significance to your family or the deceased, ensuring that the ceremony reflects their values and beliefs.
Ultimately, my aim is to collaborate with you to craft a meaningful and memorable tribute that celebrates the life of your loved one and provides solace to those who mourn their passing.

Yes! I am glad to assist!
For it matters not, how much we own;
the cars....the house...the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
and how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard...
are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
to consider what's true and real,
and always try to understand
the way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger,
and show appreciation more
and love the people in our lives
like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect,
and more often wear a smile...
remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.
So, when your eulogy is being read
with your life's actions to rehash...
would you be proud of the things they
say about how you spend your dash?”
1996 Linda Ellis
THE DASH
“I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning...to the end.
He noted that first came the date of her birth
and spoke of the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on earth...
and now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth.
end, of life planning.
